Eire Og man Sean Gannon fired three goals into the back of the net in Carlows 2nd Round Allianz National League win over London in Ruislip on Saturday afternoon.
John Murphy also scored a goal as Carlow ran out 4-04 to 1-11 winners.
Carlow put in a huge performance in their opening league game at home however came up short against Antrim last weekend and were determined to fulfil their potential on the road this weekend.
It didn’t take long for Carlow to get going as they hit the back of the net in the opening three minutes and hit another around the twelve-minute mark while London had only scored a single point at that stage.
London hit back with three points however Carlow rattled the net again on the 27th minute to put them in control, they managed two more points to Londons one to go in at half time 3-03 to 0-05.
The visitors fourth goal came only a few minutes into the second half and London pull back a few points and also scored their goal but Carlow, while scoring little in the second half saw out the game winners.
