The draw for the KCLR shield was made at the Carlow & District league management meeting in seven oaks last night.

The champions league style tournament will kick off the season which begins on the weekend of Friday the 26th.

Last year Slaney Rovers and New Oak Boys met in the final on Sunday 2nd of January, with one team getting the chance to claim the first silverware of the year.

In other news:

We also made the decision after a long and healthy discussion that we will run an u18 and u19 league on alternative weekends and if we get enough teams for u18 two divisions we would encourage the u18 who are strong enough to enter 19 as well so they can play every week
