Tullaroan claimed the Intermediate All-Ireland after a thrilling game against Fr O’Neills where it finished with just one point between them on Saturday.
Conahy Shamrocks won the Junior title before them.
Speaking after that game, Tullaroan’s Tommy Walsh says the parish is on cloud nine.
He said “The club is just so much more, it’s the soul of the place, everyone in Tullaroan us flying it at the moment, we’ve a great racquetball club, the mothers and others have 36 or 37 playing gaelic football, we’ve an athletics club, this is all down at the hurling field”.
“It’s just a magical time, I said it to the lads inside (dressing room), it’s like being in Disneyworld for the last three months, what a time to be a player”.
