The 2023 Camán Caint Junior team of the year was announced at a special live event at O’Loughlin Gaels GAA club in Kilkenny on Friday night. Also presented were the Junior Top Scorer and overall Junior Player of the Year awards.

As per the selection, there are no specific positions, but the team selection has been broken down into goalkeeper (1), defenders (6), midfielders (2) and forwards (6). Congratulations to all of this year’s winners.
The awards, now in their third year, seek to recognise the very best of the club game and players from the Kilkenny Camogie club championships at adult junior, intermediate and senior grade. This year’s junior team selection was sponsored by The Hoban Hotel.

With three nominees for the overall Junior Player of the Year award, this year’s winner makes it two on the bounce with the award presented to Vivienne Holmes of the Jock Lockes/Bennettsbridge club.
