“There’s Nothing Won Yet” – Lisdowney and Young Irelands Set for Showdown in Intermediate Final

Lisdowney and Young Irelands are set to face off this Sunday in the Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Intermediate Hurling Final.

The much-anticipated clash will be at 3.15pm at UPMC Nowlan Park, and you can catch all the action live on KCLR, proudly sponsored by Proficient Engineering Ltd.

Lisdowney manager Trevor Fletcher shared his thoughts on their approach to the final following their semi-final victory. Speaking to KCLR, Fletcher expressed his respect for the challenge ahead, acknowledging that both teams are well-matched.

“There are two teams left, and we’re one of them at this stage. We played Gowran in the league final, so we know exactly what they’re like, and they know what we’re like,” Fletcher said. “They’re probably in the same boat. They’re in the county final. They’re a team to beat, and that’s how we’re going to approach it. I’m delighted for this bunch of players, but as I told them, there’s nothing won yet.”

With both sides fully aware of each other’s strengths, the final promises to be an intense and thrilling encounter. Don’t miss a moment of it—tune in live to KCLR for full match coverage.
