Thomastown Senior Camogie manager Ken Walsh says there is no time like the present as they now take on the challenge of Oulart the Ballagh in the upcoming Leinster Championship.
Speaking to KCLR on last nights “The way it is” following Sunday’s County Final victory over Mullinavat, Ken says they are going to give the Provincial Championship a right go….
“We didn’t really speak much about it because obviously the girls are celebrating, but I did say to them in the dressing room look I would love to give it a right rattle and they are kind of on board with it like to really have a go at it”
“We have a home match against Oulart, which might bring a bit of pressure playing in our home ground in Grennan but at the same time it would be great and I hope everyone all the hurling public in Thomastown would get down and give us great support on the day”
“Look, we will give it a right go so hopefully look there is no time like the present to take on a challenge like that, and I know the girls the way they have been all year will definitely be up for it like, so we would want to better it anyway”
