Thomastown Senior Camogie manager Ken Walsh says they are going to have to match Dicksboro’s intensity if they are to retain the County Senior title on Sunday.
Speaking to KCLR, Ken says Dicksboro have huge momentum after the hurlers reaching the County Senior Hurling Final.
“Well Dicksboro are a fine team. In the two years that I have been involved in Thomastown on the Camogie end of it, they have probably given us our hardest game, they definitely gave us our hardest game in Kilkenny last year in the Semi-Final.
“They missed a couple of chances and they missed a penalty with more or less the last puck of the game that would have brought it back to a one point game.
“They are a very well balanced team and of course now they are going to be on a high as well with their hurlers getting to the Senior Hurling Final.
“They have huge momentum coming into this game, we are going to have to try and match that momentum however best we can,” he said.
