Thomastown Senior Camogie manager Ken Walsh is in no doubt that Thomastown will bounce back as good as ever despite the disappointment of a 2nd consecutive All-Ireland Semi-Final defeat against Slaughtneil on Sunday.
Speaking to KCLR yesterday evening, Ken says Sunday’s disappointment will be forgotten about very quickly…..
“Oh without doubt, I would have no doubt about the character of those girls at all, they are a fantastic bunch and like I mean, it’s a great honour having Shelley Farrell captain of the County Team, and I said it to her after the game, I said look, you have that to look forward to now and drive it on from there, and it’s a great honour for the club”
“I have no doubt they will take a couple of weeks off and whatever, new management team comes in next year and takes them over that”
“Once the bright evening comes in and that, sure you are back hurling again, these things are forgotten about fairly quickly, you just take on the next year and the next challenge at it’s own merit, so I would have no doubt whatsoever about the character of those girls”
