Thomastown captain Jenny Reddy not underestimating upcoming Slaughtneil challenge

Thomastown Senior Camogie Captain Jenny Reddy says they know very little about Slaughtneil despite the fact they are the defending All-Ireland Champions.

Speaking to KCLR on Saturday Scoreline, Jenny says they won’t be in any way underestimating the challenge they are going to provide in the New Year…..

“Yeah, they are. When we say we are playing a Team from Derry, a couple of people have already said to me, ah sure ye’ll walk that, ye’ll definitely get straight to the All-Ireland Final, but they don’t realize that they are the All-Ireland Champions from last year and from what we know of them, they are a really strong well balanced team”

“They have I think really good midfielders and centre-back, centre-forward and a really nippy corner-forward I think but we know very little about them really so I suppose they are the same, although I do think they had some people at our game so they probably picked up a few pointers”
