Carlow’s good showing against Tipperary on Sunday has paid off for three of the county’s footballers.
Brothers Mikey and Seanie Bambrick alongside Jamie Clarke in midfield have been named to the GAA.ie Tailteann Cup Team of the Week.
Carlow beat Tipperary 1-12 to 1-10 at Netwatch Cullen Park on Sunday with Monday morning’s quarter-final draw handing Niall Carew’s side a home fixture against Westmeath this weekend.
That game is likely to take place at 2pm this Saturday.
