Wexford are beaten 3-1 by Vllazania in their first game earlier today in Alytus. Edel Kennedy put Wexford again on 19 minutes to open the scoring. Amanda Doyle levelled for for Vllaznia on the half hour mark before grabbing her second ten minutes later.
Megi Doci made sure of the points with a third for Vllaznia heading into the break. Despite the late goal flurry it was a strong performance from the Youths in the first half though ultimately there would be no way back. Final score 3-1.

Carlow’s Kylie Murphy, Blessing Kingsley and Lauren Dwyer are in Lithuania this morning for their Champions League qualifier with Wexford Youths womens side.
Kilkenny are represented by Orlaith Conlon, part of the Youths setup since 2014.
The reigning national league champions face Vllaznia of Albania from 11am.
