- 1.20pm: The Connolly’s Red Mills Irish EBF Auction Maiden Hurdle (€20,000)
- 1.50pm: The John Mulhern Galmoy Hurdle Grade 2 (€45,000)
- 2.25pm: The Adare Manor Opportunity Handicap Hurdle (€18,000)
- 3.00pm: The Goffs Thyestes Handicap Steeplechase Grade A (€100,000)
- 3.35pm: The PMF Beginners Steeplechase (€14,500)
- 4.10pm: The PJ Foley Memorial Flat Race (€10,500)
The big race of the day is The Goffs Thyestes Handicap Steeplechase (Grade A) with a guaranteed value of €100,000 (for the perpetual silver cup presented to Gowran Park by the late Mr. John McEnery). Second receives €20,000, third €10,000 with €5,000, €3,000 and €2,000 allocated for fourth, fifth and sixth respectively.
Among those set for the main race are the Gordon Elliot trained Alpha Des Obeaux and Borice with the Willie Mullins trained Augustin, Bellow Mome and Blazer also up for consideration.
