While we’re on the road again this weekend for a number of live games, local GAA fans too may be on the hunt for tickets for hurling, football and camogie action, so we’ve got you covered below.
Among the live games on KCLR and Scoreline.ie this weekend will be the Dillon Quirke Foundation fundraising clash between Tipperary and Kilkenny. Having just met in the second round of the Allianz Hurling League at UPMC Nowlan Park, Derek Lyng and Liam Cahill’s sides make for FBD Semple Stadium on Sunday for a game anticipated to draw a bumper crowd.
All proceeds for that game are going towards the foundation’s efforts to raise awareness of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS) and help fund a cardiac screening programme for every GAA player from the age of 12 upwards.
There are two types of ticket available for that game, both costing €20.

Also this weekend we’re going to see St. Kieran’s College take on St. Raphael’s College Loughrea in the quarter-finals of this year’s Croke Cup, or the Masita GAA Post-Primary Schools Croke Cup, to give the competition its full run out. Throw-in at Nenagh is at 2pm and tickets are available here.
On the football front, we’ll be in Netwatch Cullen Park on Sunday afternoon to watch Carlow’s senior footballers return from their gap weekend to host Laois in the third round of the Allianz Football League. Throw-in for their Division 4 clash is at 2pm and it’s an all-ticket affair – you can get them online here.
If you’re on the hunt for camogie action, the VERY Ireland Camogie Leagues start back this weekend with Division 1 springing to life. Kilkenny are on the road to Cusack Park in Ennis in a game originally slated for Saturday but now part of a doubleheader for Clare’s football clash with Kildare in Division 2 of the Allianz Football League. Those tickets can be found here.
And in the Lidl Ladies National League, we’ll see Carlow take on Fermanagh while Kilkenny make the short trip to Baltinglass to take on Wicklow. Tickets for those games will be available here shortly.
