It might only be January, the days might be cold, but things are already hotting up on the live game front at Scoreline HQ.
This Saturday and Sunday we’ll be crossing between hurling, football and camogie as we keep you up-to-date with the pre-season inter-county action plus the Leinster camogie club championships.
Beginning on Saturday, we’ll be going live to Camross GAA grounds in Laois for the Leinster camogie intermediate club championship quarter-final between Kilkenny’s Barrow Rangers and hosts Camross.
It’s ‘Rangers first competitive outing since sealing the clubs first-ever intermediate club title in Kilkenny last November and we’ll be live for the full game with Martin Quilty and Paula Murphy on duty. Throw-in there is at 1.30pm.
In-between, we’ll be going live to Naomh Eoin GAA to get the latest from Tommy Murphy on Myshall’s intermediate clash with Kilrush of Wexford, that game is also underway from 1.30pm.
Sunday’s a big one in Kilkenny and our coverage is set to begin at 1.30pm in Palmerstown as reigning Kilkenny senior camogie champions Dicksboro get set to face Dublin champions St. Jude’s in their Leinster club senior camogie semi-final.
As part of a double-header on air, we’ll also be live in John Locke Park, Callan for the second round Walsh Cup meeting of Kilkenny and Laois. Having fallen to Wexford last time out, Laois will be looking to make amends on their short hop to Callan with Kilkenny getting their first competitive outing since last year’s All-Ireland semi-final defeat to Cork.
