Kilkenny’s Mary O’Connell says the strength of their panel this year is incredible.
The cats are getting ready for the visit of Galway tomorrow in the senior championship with a 5 pm throw-in in John Locke’s Park.
Mary told scoreline that every player that comes off the bench makes a huge impact.
“Our panel is so strong, to get the starting jersey is the main thing really,” said Mary.
“Training is just so intense, anyone can come on and make a difference and we see so many different players being used throughout the league and now the championship as well.”
“People just slot in just as easy as the girl that comes off, huge competition and we have huge confidence in the girls that come on as well, it’s a great thing to have”.
