FBD Semple Stadium in Thurles has been confirmed as the venue for this year’s All-Ireland Under 20 hurling final.
Kilkenny punched their ticket to the final with a one-point win over Wexford in the Leinster decider on Monday.
They’ll face Limerick, a side they lost to in the 2017 All-Ireland final, on Sunday week, May 22nd with throw-in set for 1.30pm.
Speaking to Scoreline after Monday night’s win in Carlow, manager Derek Lyng praised his side’s efforts but knows they’ll need to improve for Sunday week if they’re to get the better of the Munster champions.
Kilkenny haven’t won an All-Ireland title at the grade since 2008 and have lost three finals in the time since, the most recent coming against Limerick in 2017.
