Shay Murtagh Park played host to Mullingar v Tullow in the sem-finals of the Paul Flood Cup on Sunday afternoon.

Tullow got their first points on the board by running a try (unconverted) into the corner at the five-minute mark before adding two more inside the next ten.

20 minutes in and the women from Black Gates were 22 points clear, a fourth try in the bag. By half time, that lead had been extended further, though Mullingar did manage to get on the scoreboard, the score at 36-5 heading into the break.
