Tullow man Cillian Redmond has signed a contract with London Irish, following in the footsteps of fellow club man Sean O’Brien.
Redmond was on trial for Declan Kidney’s side as they played against Connacht recently, a game in which he came on a half-time to see the exiles run out 47-14 winners.

“We are delighted for him. I was talking to his dad, his family is delighted for him. He has put in savage work, he is a kid that had every obstacle thrown at him from a young age. He was sick around 18, 19 and missed out on Leinster 19’s but has battled so hard to get back”.
