Caught on camera: The best of the UFC action so far this year in just 7 minutes

Not all of the big moments need to be knockouts and finishes.

We’re quarter ways through 2021 and there have been some serious UFC highlights already this year.

From McGregor v Poirier II in January, to Francis Ngannou becoming the new heavyweight king at the end of March and everything in-between, there’s been some seriously good highlights on show for the world’s biggest mixed martial arts promotions.

BT Sport, who handle the broadcast side of things for UFC in Ireland and the UK, have stitched together 7 minutes from some of the best moments beyond the realm of knockouts and submissions.

Whether it’s Khabib Nurmagomedov opting to stream fights on his phone to his millions of followers (perhaps unintentionally) while returning as coach, or Max Holloway in full conversation with the cage-side commentary team while putting on a boxing clinic against Calvin Kattar, there have been some great moments caught on camera.

We’ve also seen Miley Cyrus get called out post-fight, Michael Chandler’s promotion debut, former teammates Kamaru Usman and Gilbert Burns shed tears, McGregor and Poirier share respect, there’s back-flips, comebacks, celebrations and much more.

Give yourself a few minutes and take a look back at some of the highlights easily overshadowed by the knockouts we all love to see.
