UPMC Nowlan Park is set to host the All-Ireland U20 Hurling Championship final.
It had been reported earlier in the week that Kilkenny GAA had requested to host the decider on the opening weekend of June to mark the 100th anniversary of the death of James Nowlan.
There were meetings of An Coiste Bainistíochta and Ard Chomhairle on Friday and Saturday where it was was agreed to recommend to CCCC that the showpiece event be held in the home of Kilkenny GAA.
