Camán Caint Player of the Year

The time has come – the 2022 Camán Caint Player of the Year Awards and overall Team of the Year awards for adult junior, intermediate and senior grades in Kilkenny are just around the corner.

This week’s Camán Caint podcast – episode 13 of season three – has broken down the teams and players in the running for awards this season but now it’s your turn to vote.

Voting is officially open and will run until Friday 25 November. You can cast your vote below which will join those of the casting executive committee (those responsible across the club championship season for the shortlisting).

Three players from each grade make up the nominees with Carrickshock duo Orla Grace and Áine Rohan joined by Vivienne Holmes of John Lockes/Bennettsbridge in the Junior Player of the Year category.

At intermediate, Rower Inistioge’s Kelly Hamilton’s efforts over the season earn her a nomination alongside the Village pairing of Niamh Deely and Emma Manogue while in the senior ranks is a clean sweep of nominations for Thomastown with Joanne Fitzpatrick, Sarah Walsh and Anna Farrell all in contention.

Vote now: Camán Caint Player of the Year 2022

In voting below, you can cast a vote for one each of the junior, intermediate and senior players of the year. You are not obliged to cast a vote in each category but you are encouraged to vote and show your support.

Stay tuned to the Camán Caint podcast as we head towards the end of the provincial championship season with new episodes available weekly during the regular season.
