The nominees for the September round of the KCLR & David Buggy Motors Kilkenny Sport Star Award are in.
It’s a mix of individuals and teams for this month with three first-time nominees in the running.
The Nominees
First up is Kilkenny show jumper Jack Ryan, jumping his way to success in early September, winning the Irish Breeders Classic.
John Lockes Callan have risen from junior hurling this season to claim the Kilkenny intermediate hurling league for 2018, culminating with a win over a fancied Tullaroan side.
Finally, young Kilkenny golfer Mark Power, who capped off a great summer, helping Great Britain & Ireland to beat Europe and claim the Bridgestone Boys International Order of Merit.
