Want to be Ireland’s next top Wrestling superstar?

FROM SOIW facebook

From Shemus to Finn Balor, Becky Lynch to Fit Finley, Ireland has produced some of the wrestling industries top stars. Over the last decade the independent wrestling world has been littered with talent emanating from the Emerald Isle, and alot of that has to do with the success of Over The Top Wrestling.

Over the Top Wrestling, or OTT for short, was established in 2014 and was the brainchild of former NXT wrestler Joe Cabray. Since then Ireland has seen some of the greatest wrestling stars from all over the globe mix it up on these shores, helping establish a viable scene for Irish wrestlers to grow.

With new shows being announced all the time, new emerging talent is always sought after. After a long lay off due to the pandemic and a change of premises the School of Irish Wrestling is set to open its doors again with beginners open day this Saturday, September 25th.

Here you will get to chat and ask questions to the schools coaches which include Joe Cabray, founder of OTT, Martina, Ring Of Honour, Veteran of the Irish scene Paddy Morrow, Sean Guinness, Formerly of the Zero One Dojo in Japan, and Former OTT GN Champion Lj Cleary .

These names have been responsible for some of greatest nights of wrestling in Ireland, so there is no better place to start your journey then the school of Irish Wrestling. The only caveat is you must be over 16 years old.

The school is located in the Black Abyss Studios, 73 Cookstown Rd, Cookstown Industrial Estate, Tallaght, Co. Dublin, D24 AR25 and if interested contact them via facebook for any further questions.

For now check out this cracker of a match between current WWE star Walter and NJPW stalwart Will Ospreay
