While the party continues for Kilkenny’s hurlers tonight in Ballyhale, yesterday saw Brian Cody’s men return to the home of hurling in Kilkenny, Nowlan Park, with the Liam McCarthy cup in tow for the 36th time.
With an 11th All-Ireland under his tenure, Cody spoke to KCLR’s Brendan Hennessy about the game, Jackie Tyrrell’s half time talk, the changes to the panel for 2015 and more before heading for the station to address a packed house.
