We’ve seen Colaiste Eamann Rís in Callan do it, we’ve seen St. Kieran’s College do it and now it’s Henry Shefflin’s turn.
More familiar to hurling lovers in wearing the black and amber or green and white of his native club (or even the dapper suits on The Sunday Game), the Ballyhale Shamrocks man stepped out in his work attire, ID badge and all, to take a pass from a Tipperary man and smash a sliotar out of the park.
Somewhere in the distance we’re imagining that ball sailed straight between the uprights.
