The accolades keep coming for Kilkenny native Ellen Molloy.
Once upon a time banging them in for Thomastown United, she’s now plying her club trade with Wexford in the Women’s National League.
Molloy was already named WNL Young Player of the Season for the 2020 campaign.
On Tuesday night she was awarded Wexford Youths Women’s Senior Goal of the Season for her left-footed strike against Galway.

As goals go, the ‘keeper never stood a chance. Good build up play, onto her left peg while running towards the edge of the box and hoofs it into the top left corner.
