Carlow Senior Hurling manager Colm Bonnar says Chris Nolan is in the right place with his progression.
Speaking to KCLR after yesterday’s one-point defeat to Laois, Colm says that there is more to come from Chris and from Carlow.
“Yeah, look he (Chris) was under-21 this year. He has another two years Under-21 and Chris is in the right place. He is in with lads like Marty and Denis and James Doyle and he is learning. What a better place.
“He is definitely a player for the future and to see him coming in, he brings great energy and he took some vital scores and he helped us get back so yeah there is more to come from him.
Bonnar went on to praise the entire panel for their efforts this year.
“Yeah, look these lads are great, they love their hurling and we all have to sit back and assess the year and see what went well and what we need to improve on but yeah I am looking forward to getting back involved, there is more to come from them.” he said
