Local rugby fixtures will be taking a break for the next month for Kilkenny, Carlow, and Tullow.
Tullow had a huge victory against table-toppers Wicklow at the weekend, leaving them second in the table now, just a point behind Wicklow.

Speaking to Scoreline SETU Carlow and Tullow Coach Jonny Tobin outlines the excitement around the club at the halfway point in the season;
“The club is in an incredible place at the moment, we are onto something special. It is driving in the right direction, everything is starting to click. There is ambition there with a lot of young lads coming back to the club. It is good for the old boys the like of Larry Canavan and Larry Browne, when you see them walking on the sideline smiling, you know the young lads have done something right. Building blocks on the foundations those lads put down.”
“There is a real good community spirit at the club, it’s all positive. Everything has been immense at the moment, everything is in the right place.”
“It is incredible to watch.”
