Speaking before the game Carlow Senior football manager Niall Carew seems positive about the momentum his side have;
“Obviously the pressure is on and Loais, they want to get back into Division Three and you know to see themselves, the division two team as well. They’ve been operating between two and three and four in the last number of years as well.”
“So you know, we have quite a young team. Laois seems to be very experienced all over the pitch. We feel that we’re going in One Direction and our players are getting better each year.”
“We feel that we’re closing the gap. But we won’t know until the game is over.”

Niall Carew has confirmed Carlow will be without two Key Players for Sunday’s clash with Laois.
Both Jonah Dunne and Ciaran Moran are ruled out with injury as The Barrowsiders search for their first win over Laois in 35 years.
