Naomh Eoin manager Colin Keeling says that his team must turn performances into results if they are to progress in the JJ Kavanagh and Sons Carlow Senior Hurling Championship.
Speaking after St. Mullins 2-19 to 3-13 defeat of his side on Saturday, Keeling said that his charges rued missed opportunities to win the game.
“Disappointed tonight, but we left a few chances behind us and we hit the post in the end and it wasn’t to be” said Colin.
“So we have to regroup now again and probably getting close isn’t going to be good anymore, we have to put a performance in to win it” he added.
In the other game at the weekend, Mount Leinster Rangers beat Ballinkillen 2-18 to 2-11.
This weekend Bagenalstown Gaels take on Mount Leinster Rangers on Sunday at 2 pm in Netwatch Cullen Park and then Naomh Eoin clash with Ballinkillen at 3.45 pm.
