Limerick cornerback Sean Finn and his teammates are preparing to take on Kilkenny in the Allianz League Final in Croke Park this Sunday.
The four-time All-Star will be gunning for a third league title, with high hopes for a fifth All-Ireland title under John Kiely. Kilkenny has their own aspirations of course, as they look to claim a historic 20th league crown, and first under Derek Lyng.
Finn, whose father previously won a National Hurling League with Limerick in 1992, is looking to lay down a marker ahead of the Championship run;
“We are looking for a really tough challenge and a really good test. Seeing how we can come up with solutions to get a result and come out the right side of the game.”
“We saw the challenge that Kilkenny posed to us last year, and the challenges we faced against them, so we expect no different next Sunday.”
“That is really good for us to be as prepared as we can for the Munster Championship. We will be expecting a tough test, and it is up to us to respond to it, try to be as good as we can and get the best performance we can.”
Finn could help your club to win a state-of-the-art gym along with some other great prizes thanks to Optimum Nutrition who are the new Official Performance Nutrition partner of the Gaelic Players Association.
