Weekend fixtures: Stryve U20 Football Championship continues, provincial runs capture the imagination

There are four games in Carlow this weekend as the Stryve U20 Football Championship and Leinster championships continue.

It all begins on Friday evening in Pitch 1 of the Training Centre as Fenagh take on Tinryland in Group 2 of the U20 B Football Championship at 7.30pm.

The same venue will play host to the only other U20 game this weekend which sees Asca meet Fighting Cocks/Kilbride in Group 1 of the B Championship at 7.15pm on Saturday night.

There are two Carlow teams remaining in the Leinster football championships with Palatine and Clonmore both looking forward to last-eight ties.

At 1.30pm on Saturday, Netwatch Cullen Park will play host to the Leinster junior quarter-final as Clonmore go up against Kildare side Straffan (Live on KCLR).

Palatine’s senior quarter-final clash with Portarlington throws-in at 3pm on Sunday afternoon in Carlow GAA Headquarters (Live on KCLR).

Friday, November 5th

Fenagh vs Tinryland – Stryve U20 B Football Championship Group 2 – 7.30pm in Pitch 1 of the Training Centre

Saturday, November 6th

Clonmore vs Straffan – AIB Leinster Junior Football Championship quarter-final – 1.30pm in Netwatch Cullen Park (Live on KCLR)

Asca vs Fighting Cocks/Kilbride – Stryve U20 B Football Championship Group1 – 7.15pm in Pitch 1 of the Training Centre

Sunday, November 7th

Palatine vs Portarlington – AIB Leinster Senior Football Championship quarter-final – 3pm in Netwatch Cullen Park (Live on KCLR)
