Former Freebooters player Success Edogun has put pen to paper on a deal with Wexford FC.

The highly-rated forward makes the move from St. Patrick’s Athletic who he won an U19 Airtricity League with last year and Waterford FC the year before.

Edogun played his junior football with Freebooters before heading to Waterford FC in 2019 and St. Pat’s in 2020.

He’s a man of many talents too having played rugby for a time, beginning with Kilkenny College.

From there he went on to play sevens rugby with he Irish U18’s winning the European championship in 2019.

Speaking on Wexford FC’s website Edogun said:

“I’ve heard nothing but good things about Wexford, I know it’s a great club with good people and a club that like to develop young players which is one of the main reasons I decided to sign. I hope to get more experience and hopefully make a big impact. It’s a great opportunity for me to show what I can do”.

Fixtures for the new season are being announced on Monday week (8th February).
