Carlow Senior Hurling Manager Colm Bonnar says that producing a good performance in Sunday’s Final group League game against Wexford will be a big ask especially with the possibility of Wexford qualifying directly for a League Semi-Final.
Carlow play Westmeath in the relegation decider on Sunday week 8th March, and speaking to KCLR, Colm is well aware of the damage that Davy Fitzgerald’s men are capable of inflicting.
He said “It’s something that we are working on, but having said that Wexford they have 6 points on the board, they are practically in the Quarter-Finals and they would be looking to win and win well probably to get a Semi-Final spot straight away from this National League so yeah, it’s a big ask but yeah in the bac of our minds, we need to have a good performance so that we are well prepared for the relegation Final”
