KCLR has live commentary of this game on air and online with thanks to Declan Byrne & Sons Expert Hardware and Timber Sales, Sleaty Street, Carlow.
Wicklow Senior Football manager Johnny Magee says there is nothing separating themselves and Carlow ahead of Saturday evening’s All-Ireland Qualifier.
Speaking to KCLR, Johnny says that Carlow’s victory away to Wicklow won’t necessary make them favourites for Saturday’s game.
“You could say that they (Carlow) are favourites but been realistic about it, there is no real favourties, we are both in Division 4, we finished on the same points in the league, the only difference was the scoring difference that separated us so like it’s 50/50 really”
“It’s one of those games where whoever turn up on the evening is going to pull it through”
“You could say that they (Carlow) might have the bit of confidence from having beaten us the last day, but we would like to think after the performance we would put in against Laois, it just shows that we are well capable of when we play to our potential, we are well capable of causing any team problems”
