Wicklow Senior Football Manager Davy Burke says they have the toughest start possible to their Division 4 National League campaign tomorrow night (Saturday) against Carlow in Netwatch Cullen Park.

Speaking to KCLR, Davy says their preparations are moving in the right direction against the best team in the League.

He said “The more training sessions, the more time you can spend together, the better you should be, and since then we have another couple of sessions done between now and then”.

“I think we are moving in the right direction, possibly have the toughest start and we probably have the best team in the League Saturday evening in that they are coming down from Division 3, a big strong physical team, plenty of experience and if you are looking for a soft start, we certainly didn’t get it, that’s for sure”.
