The Willie Mullins trained Chacun Pour Soi is set to run in the 2-mile Grade 1 Paddy’s Rewards Club Chase at Leopardstown on 27th December.
His jockey Paul Townend says he is a horse who has been fragile in the past but one who they are looking forward to seeing back in action on ground that will suit over Christmas.
He said “In this sport we love the potential, I was mighty impressed with him when I won on him in Naas and it would have been hard to get off an arkle winner in Punchestown to ride him but I wasn’t at all surprised when he went down by me on the straight”.
“The ability is there and he’s a natural jumper, I suppose he lacks experience but he didnt do anything wrong in Punchestown”.
