Winner on the day: Carlow senior football league semi-finals booked for 27-29 May

The semi-final draws for Division 1-4 of the Carlow senior football leagues have been made and get underway this weekend.

Carlow Football

The semi-final fixtures for the Carlow senior football leagues have been made.

As the leagues enter the closing stages, games will be played on a ‘winner on the day’ basis with extra time played where warranted. Games get underway on Friday 27 May (this Friday)

Division 1

  • Friday 27 May: Éire Óg v Tinryland, 7pm
  • Friday 27 May: Rathvilly v Palatine, 8.30pm

Both of these games will be played at Netwatch Cullen Park

Division 2

  • Friday 27 May: Fenagh v Mount Leinster Rangers, 7.30pm
  • Sunday 29 3: Naomh Eoin v Ballinabranna, 6pm

Mount Leinster Rangers needed penalties to settle things with Kildavin/Clonegal in the quarter-finals (4-3) while Naomh Eoin were 0-13 to 1-05 winners over Railyard.

Both of these games will be played at the Netwatch Training Centre in Fenagh.

Division 3

  • Friday 27 May: Clonmore v Leighlinbridge (Venue TBC)
  • Tuesday 31 May: Ballon v Fighting Cocks 7.30pm, Netwatch Training Centre, Fenagh

Division 4

  • Friday 27 May: Ballinabranna v Naomh Eoin, 7.45pm
  • Sunday 29 May: Rathvilly v Fenagh, 6.15pm

Both of these games will be played at the Netwatch Training Centre in Fenagh.

Division 5 hasn’t yet reached semi-final stages as it’s a nine-team structure.
