Carlow Senior Football selector Tommy Wogan says that Eire Og will have to roll up their sleeves if they are to put an end to the Palatine charge.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s County Semi-Final, Tommy is expecting a close game.
“They(Palatine) are playing to a system that suits them very well. They run the ball very very well out of their back line. The transition from backs up into the forwards very very well, but look at the end of the day, it’s championship football and Eire Og is going to have to roll up their sleeves and anything can happen on the day.
“In the past with Eire Og and Pal, there has never been more than a kick of the ball between the two of them at the end of the day. It’s going to be interesting, very interesting now,” he said.
