To celebrate International Women’s Day, a book capturing the first 10 years of the SSE Airtricity Women’s National League has been made available for free online.
The 75-page book uncovers the great stories, characters, and moments from the first decade of the top tier of women’s football in the Republic of Ireland.
From reliving Stephanie Roche’s FIFA Puskas-nominated Goal of the Year to the tale of two doctors returning to play in the League, it arrives just in time ahead of the 2021 season kicking off on March 27th.
It also features a chat with Kylie Murphy from Graguecullen who plays for Wexford Youths and has well over 200 caps with the side.
A select number of printed copies will be made available over the coming weeks.
