All roads lead to Dunleer, County Louth this weekend for Carlow senior football champions Rathvilly.
They’ll face Naomh Mairtin on Sunday at Pairc Ui Mhuiri in the opening round of the Leinster senior club football championship.
Speaking to Scoreline.ie, KCLR’s football analyst Willie Quinlan reckons if Rathvilly plays like they did against Éire Óg last weekend, they’ll be in with a good shout.
“Rathvilly beat a good Eire Og team, all be it they weren’t at their best but they made them look bad at times, made them look like they were an ordinary team,” said Willie.
“They have some very good players, their backline is after really stepping up in the last couple of months, they’re improving, they’re after tightening up and they looked the better team on the day”.
“You have to give them a big shout next Sunday”.
We’ll find out just how good a shout that will be as we bring you full commentary of that game at 1 o’clock this Sunday with thanks to Tile N Style.
