Dunnamaggin Hurler Noel Hickey says the youngsters coming through have made a massive difference to training over the past year.
Speaking ahead of today’s (Sunday’s) All-Ireland Club Final showdown, Noel says that as a result training has been a lot more enjoyable.
He told KCLR Sport “This year especially, it was great this year with the club. We had a lot of young lads came up, they were eligible to train with us and play on the team and they brought a great buzz and energy to the whole team and made an awful difference to us”.
“The last few years we were tight on numbers, and things weren’t going so well, but this year in general just around the whole panel there is a great buzz and going over training everyone looks forward to it every evening and we could have 30 plus in the field every night so it was great”.
