Thomastown United manager Stephen Walsh feels that Dundalk’s squad rotation more than likely gives them a fighting chance of upsetting the odds in Monday’s Leinster Senior Cup Quarter-Final.
Speaking to KCLR, Stephen doesn’t think that Stephen Kenny will play much of his first team.
“We are going up there to get a result like, we are not going up there just for the sake of it.
“They play Friday nights, they are playing us Monday night and they have a game the following Friday so I can’t see them playing an awful lot of his first team three nights in a row.
“I’m sure he is going to have squad players against us on the Monday night, but the same time they are still going to be decent players so it will gives us a chance to think. We are going up there to try and get a result”
