Mount Leinster Rangers Football manager Gavin Morris says they haven’t been focused on results in the League due to been decimated by an absence of players.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s clash against St. Andrews, Gavin says they have used the league as an opportunity to blend in new players.
“I suppose it’s one thing we haven’t really focused on too much is the result side of things because we have been decimated by an absence of players from the various county set-ups.
“We have just been focusing more on blooding some of the new minors that are coming through and giving game time to some of the players who may not of got as much game time as they hoped in the Championship last year.
“It’s been an opportunity to look at new players and that’s what really we are basing the league on.
It may be just a League game with very little at stake but this one should be interesting nonetheless with a twitter war emerging between players from both sides at the end of last season which saw St Andrews crowned Intermediate Football Champions.
