Thomastown United manager Stephen Walsh says they are firmly focused on defending the KCLR McCalmont Cup on Saturday evening.
The sides clash in the final at 6pm on Saturday evening in Derdimus.
Speaking to KCLR, Stephen says they are more determined to retain the cup as is their best chance of silverware.
“I suppose it’s our last chance of winning something. Evergreen have won the Shield and they are in the driving seat for the League as well so it’s the only chance we have of winning something besides the Premiership cup and we want to defend our crown I suppose”
“I think the desire is their from the players to win it again”
“I mean, I know by them they are well focused on the match Saturday night and we are going to have a massive challenge in front of us, but we think we are good enough to match Evergreen”
