Former Kilkenny Senior hurler Eddie Brennan says that Kilkenny will be eager for revenge having lost to Wexford in the League Quarter-Final.
The cats take on the yellow bellies on Saturday evening at 7pm in Innovate Wexford Park.
Speaking to KCLR, Eddie says that Brian Cody is very good at getting the squad focused on the task ahead….
“I have no doubt Brian Cody is vastly experienced at this level. He has a very experienced panel, he has a few guys coming back from injury and he has plenty of youth to blend in with that so I think the mix is right”
“It’s all about getting the lads tuned into that now and I think that is one thing that Brian is always quite good at doing, getting lads focused on the task ahead”
“I don’t think they will be looking anywhere other than Wexford Park, Like anything, when a team does a number on you and beats you, you kind of love to get a crack at them again so I think it’s going to be a mighty match”
“I think it’s a shame really that Wexford Park doesn’t hold more because there would be some atmosphere down there”
