The Carlow Hurling and Camogie Long Puck competitions due to take place on the slopes of Sliabh Bawn at Mount Leinster were moved due to dense fog on Monday.
The Netwatch Training Centre in Fenagh took on the full turnout of clubs for the competition to go ahead.
Rachael Breen, Mt. Leinster Rangers, took the Under 16 camogie title while the senior camogie title went to a play off between Tracey McNally of Naomh Brid and Eimear Byrne of Mt. Leinster Rangers but in a game of inches at the end, it was McNally who emerged as winner.
Ballinkillen’s Conor Tracey took the Under 16 hurling title while Mt. Leinster Rangers’ Hugh Paddy O’Byrne took home the senior hurling title.
The winners now go forward to represent Carlow in the Leinster Puc Fada final on Saturday 24 June on The Hill of Howth, hosted by the Beann Eidear club.
