Carlow Senior Footballers will play their fifth Championship game this Summer next weekend after defeating Leitrim by 2-14 to 0-13 at Netwatch Cullen Park on Saturday. It’s the first time that this has happened in over 15 years.
Having trailed by 0-9 to 0-7, Carlow got going in the second half and goals from Paul Broderick and Ciaran Moran sent Carlow through with Sean Murphy and Sean Gannon getting through a power of work out around the middle.
