In yesterdays results Kilkenny Footballers missed out on a place in the All ireland Junior Football Final.
They lost out to Meath by 2-21 to 2-8 at Nowlan Park on Saturday.
Meanwhile it was good news for both Kikenny and Carlow in the All ireland Senior and Intermediate Camogie Championships.
Kilkenny beat Dublin in Tom Ryall Park by 3-14 to 8 points in the Senior Championship which sends them directly through to the Semi Final stage.
While Carlow beat Galway by 1-13 to 2-8 in Ballinasloe in the Intermediate Championship.
On the club front Naomh Eoin beat Erins Own by 2-21 to 1-12 in the Carlow Senior Hurling Championship at Netwatch Cullen Park, 24 hours after Mount Leinster Rangers defeated Ballinkillen.
In the Intermediate Hurling Championship there was wins for Naomh Eoin over St Mullins and Mount Leinster Rangers over Carlow Town, while Palatine were successful in the Junior grade against Ballinkillen and Michael Davits won against Burren Rangers in the under 21 Football grade.
While in Kilkenny Danesfort were victorious in the Northern Junior B Hurling League, and in the Southern section Mooncoin and Ballyhale Shamrocks also won.
