Mount Leinster Rangers Club Captain Edward Coady says the first round victory over Ballinkillen was all about getting the two points.
Speaking to KCLR, Edward admits that the upcoming Football club games will take priority.
“I mean the first round is always a little bit of an unknown as to how your progressing, how the year is going, how players are gelling together so for us, I suppose it was just a matter of getting off the ground, getting two points in the bag and roll on the next round and see where it takes us.
“I know Football is going to take priority now for a week or two so that’s kind of putting a little bit of a stop to our canter as well but as I said, it was just a matter of getting two points, getting on the board and looking forward to the next round,” said Coady.
